The daylong session took place at the Northeastern Illinois Public Safety Training Academy in Glenview and was organized by the Rolling Meadows Fire Department. The participants at the training session were all medical professionals, including physical therapists and orthopedic surgeons, who spent a day walking in the shoes of their patients.

Hinsdale Orthopaedics continues their commitment to athletes of all levels. Over 30 individuals from the Chicagoland area, including Dr. Justin LaReau of Hinsdale Orthopaedics, traveled to the state of Maryland to compete with elite national clubs in this triathlon event.

Dr. Jason Hurbanek, orthopaedic surgeon with Hinsdale Orthopaedics, will be one of three speakers at the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association (WCLA) Spring Medical Seminar. WCLA presents bi-annual medical seminars with expert speakers who present the latest information on injuries and treatments.

Welcoming Our New JOINT REPLACEMENT, TRAUMA & ORTHOPAEDIC ONCOLOGY SURGEON Dr. Nikhil K. Chokshi is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who treats all orthopaedic conditions, but focuses on joint replacement, trauma and orthopaedic oncology. Dr. Chokshi received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Washington University in St. Louis and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery.

Welcoming Our New RHEUMATOLOGIST Dr. Angela Crowley is a board certified physician who is fellowship trained in rheumatology. Prior to joining Hinsdale Orthopaedics, Dr. Crowley received her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Utah. She completed a fellowship in rheumatology
